The Discoveries
First they decided that they discovered a New Solar System. Maybe
it is just semantics as the philosophers say. But I think it is the way
that many men have come to think of themselves. Nothing exists unless I believe
it exists. And even then, I must know it first. |
 |
| And now, sometime in the year 2000
"A team of international astronomers" indicated that they have discovered
a new planet in a nearby solar system around a star called Epsilon Eridani.
They also indicate that it is the closest star to Earth that has a
circling planet.
But this statement needs to be amplified. It is really based on what the
instruments of today can detect.
Which in turn, is based on their knowledge of what they want them
to detect. And what they want them to detect, is what they believe should
be there.
If we build it, we will see it.
